Received and installed a new version of Ellsworth's asymmetrical chainstay. The previous stay had mimimal clearance on my Id, this one is a refined version with 5 mm more gap.
I'm not sure I get this or like this, but it's happening.
Twin lakes open space is being fenced off by the county now and interestingly, the fence of the west lake is on the opposite side of the trail from what one might expect. This lake will allow dogs to be off leash and perhaps it defines a barrier to keep the dogs out of the marsh section. Personally this bothers me because it isolates us from the lake but it's in motion and all I can do is watch at this point.
Unfortunately, I have been ill with a Peritonsillar Abscess, and unable to get on the bike. If you have ever had one, I'm so sorry for you! It has been the worst suffering thing healthwise that I have ever had--and that includes a kidney laceration. Soon though I will return--my sanity can handle only so much of being cooped up.
The ugliness of a Peritonsillar Abscess (note the extreme swelling of the throat)
Mountain biking is my passionate method of seeing the world. I carry a camera along to help share it with others. I hope you see something new or in a new way here.
